WHO DESIGNED OUR CEC COURSES?

MICHELLE "MISH" WRIGHT

"I'm a professional with a background in writing, education, and public speaking, and my journey into the fitness world was a big surprise. I became a fitness instructor and trainer, with a focus on helping women get fit without hurting their bodies. I started a fitness business called mishfit®, and I created an event called the Women's Health & Fitness Summit to bring people together to learn.

I've been teaching and learning for over 15 years, and I've made it my mission to help women understand how to exercise safely. I made a several courses to share this knowledge with women and fitness professionals. My goal is to help women discover the joy and strength in fitness and to make it simple and safe for them."

DANIELLE "DANI" MONDO

"My passion for fitness first started in my early 30s, when I “got hooked” on feeling stronger and started seeing results. So it made sense for me to study Cert 3 and 4 and get qualified, so I could help others feel great too! I went on to do multiple courses to further my education around training women, nutrition, proper weight training technique and program design.

Fast forward to now, I’ve been in the industry for almost 10 years! I’ve trained clients in person, and now coach my clients online, specialising in women over 40.I love it! It’s so rewarding and I especially love educating women on how to train as they age, as well as nourishing their body to feel great and also look great!"

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What are Continuing Education Credits (CECs)?

Continuing Education Credits (CECs) are units that fitness professionals earn by completing short courses, workshops, or seminars. They are required by certifying organisations to maintain your fitness certifications and ensure you stay updated with the latest industry knowledge.

How many CECs do I need to maintain my certification?

The number of CECs required varies by certification body. For example, AUSactive currently requires 20 CECs every two years, while Physical Activity Australia requires 6PDPs every two years. Check with your certifying organisation for specific requirements.

Are your CEC courses recognised by my certification organisation?

Yes, our courses are recognised by major certification organisations such as AUSactive, Physical Activity Australia, FITREC and others. Each course description specifies the CECs awarded and the organisations that approve them.

How long do I have to complete a CEC course once I enrol?

There is no time limit on our courses, you can take as long as you like to complete. This allows you the flexibility to learn at your own pace while managing your professional and personal commitments.

Can I take multiple CEC courses at once?

Yes, you can enrol in multiple courses simultaneously - we offer bundle discount. However, we recommend completing one course at a time to ensure you fully absorb the material and successfully pass the assessments.

Are your CEC courses entirely online, or do they require in-person attendance?

All of our CEC courses are offered entirely online, allowing you to complete them from anywhere. However, we also offer some in-person workshops and hybrid options, contact us directly if this interests you.

What happens if I don't pass the final assessment?

If you don't pass the final assessment, you’ll have the opportunity to retake it. All our courses allow unlimited attempts at no extra cost, and we provide additional resources to help you succeed on your next try.

How do I submit my CECs to my certifying organisation?

After completing a course, you’ll receive a certificate of completion. Submit this certificate to your certifying organisation, either through their online portal or by following their specific submission instructions.

Can I purchase a course now, but use the CECs for my next registration period?

Yes. The date on your completion certificate will be the date you complete your final assessment, not the date you purchased or started the course. This means you can purchase the course now, work through the content at your own pace, and then submit the final assessment when you need the CECs for your next registration period.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind after registering?

Yes, for CEC courses we offer a refund policy within 30 days after registration. Please review our refund policy for complete details.

Testimonial Certificate III and IV

I completed cert 3 in Fitness with Women's Fitness Education. I wasn't sure whether I was making the right choice, but after talking to Dani from WFE, I decided to go ahead. The best decision I ever made! 100% flexible study option means I could juggle my study in between full time work and family life. I completed the course in 3 months and now continuing with Cert 4. I found the facilitators/educators very supportive and responsive to queries. 100% recommend it!

I recently completed my Cert 3 in Fitness with WFE and thoroughly enjoyed my learning experience. The education platform was so easy to use and the assessors were quick to respond to any questions I had. I learnt so much and was able to step straight into a role as a group fitness instructor. I’m now moving onto my Cert 4 in fitness with WFE and I can’t wait! If you’re interested in a career in fitness, I can’t recommend WFE enough. All of the support and extra educational opportunities along the way just made it a fantastic experience.

Hi I’m a newbie in the fitness industry and super excited at the convenience and content - I love how phone friendly it is - anytime anyplace convenienceI just completed Training Menopausal and Peri-menopausal women .. which honestly I found a bit triggering as I am one and didn’t regret doing this course. I loved the use of the comedienne as one resource to breakdown barriers and education re pelvic floor issues in men and women. Encouraging re all age fitness with some useful targeted insights to this group.

Happy to have completed pregnant & post-natal for Fitness Professionals. I liked the structure of the course and how the presenter made it easy to learn. Being in the industry for over 3 years & a bit confused why we were not taught about what is taught in this course in our Fitness certificates studies. Better late than never for me at least

I've just completed Training Menopausal a Peri-menopausal Women. I loved Michelle Wrights presenting and am going to seek out more of her courses now. Highly recommend! I didn't know much about peri-menopause and menopause before but feel so much more confident taking on this stage now. I run bootcamp style classes for pre and post natal women so wanted to upskill on our next stage of life, but also open my market up to some older women. I've been asked a lot in the past if I'd put on a class for older women, even though all of my current classes are so adaptable for any age/stage. I realised that people need to see themselves in a group to feel more like we are "their people". I now feel like I have the knowledge to put a dedicated class on the timetable and I'm excited to broaden my skills and fine tune this new class.

I recently finished two courses and I have started my third on the subject of women’s health training and specifically pelvic floor, understanding the menstrual cycle as it relates to training and pre and postnatal. And I have to say I have loved the content. I have gained so much already, absolutely sponging up the knowledge. Love it. And it hasn’t just helped with the content provided, but also given me the connections for further study by providing links to the top providers in the field and that has been incredibly helpful. Can’t recommend enough. It has truly opened my eyes to where we are failing women and how we can be the change to fix it. Thanks so much fitness Ed!
